Natural resources are important for survival of human beings and development. The main classification of natural resources include air, water, soil, minerals, energy, forest resources, rangeland, wildlife resources and fisheries resources among others. The programme exposes students to the conservation and management of the renewable and non-renewable natural resources in order to support life on earth. Renewables can regenerate by themselves with the right care; water, air, soil, vegetation, animals-human beings. Non renewables can easily get extinct if not wisely utilized. Thus training of scientists and resource managers at the bachelors level is inevitable.

Mean grade of C+ and at least grade C in Biology or C+ in Agriculture and C in Chemistry and mathematics/Physics/ Geography. Diploma in Range management, animal husbandry, forestry, wildlife management and other relevant disciplines.
